Will’s love affair with antiques began when he attended the Sotheby’s Lord Leverhulme Sale in 2001. Amongst the many auction lots was a painting by renowned Isle of Man artist, William Hoggatt and Will’s interest in antiques, art and the Isle of Man was piqued.
After graduating from university with a first class honours degree, Will relocated to the Isle of Man and, in 2013, he established Osbourne Antiques Limited. With a shop in Ramsey, he specialises in quality furniture, English silver, lighting and paintings by Isle of Man artists. A move to the current shop premises in 2021 marked the start of a new chapter and the decision was taken to rename Osbourne Antiques Limited as William Rand Antiques Limited.
With a finely honed eye and with his exacting and unwavering attention to detail, all stock is purchased by Will personally. All items are then carefully further vetted by Will for their age, quality, condition and authenticity before being offered for sale.
Will has sold antiques to numerous customers (many becoming repeat customers) locally on the Isle of Man, the United Kingdom and across the globe. As the only trading LAPADA member on the Isle of Man, Will is well known and respected for selling quality antiques to the discerning customer.
The shop is open each weekday (save for Wednesday) 9.30 – 4.30 and from 10-4 on Saturday. All stock is also displayed on the website and on the William Rand Antiques social media channels. Will can be contacted directly on +44 (0) 7624 207843 or via contact@williamrandantiques.co.uk
Will is married to his endlessly patient wife Camilla and they have a son, Reuben, and daughter, Lydia.
